OK, so, I LOVE studs. My favorite type of earring, I waited for a long time before purchasing these because the shape of the bezel had me concerned that they would stick out of my ear funny. While they do stick out from your ear, it is in such a cool way. It almost looks like the earrings are floating there, like dark fairy orbs of delicious light. The gap is not dramatic, there's just the slightest shadowing around the stone where it isn't flush with the ear. They look so cool because of this. I should have purchased them earlier.
